taurine: An organic acid that can help prevent blindness and certain types of heart disease in cats.

tom: An un-neutered male cat.

Toxoplasmosis: A disease characterized by lesions of the central nervous system. The disease can be transmitted to humans through exposure to cat fecal matter. Symptoms include fever, confusion and, if untreated, coma.

zoonosis: An animal disease that can be transmitted to humans.
